Physical Education is an integral part of the total education system. It helps in the attainment of the ultimate aim of education i.e. the achievement of holistic development. Games and Sports play a vital role in the student’s life. Considering the concept of “SPORTS FOR ALL” A ZONAL VOLLEY BALL TOURNAMENT was organised at Lt. Col. Mehar Little Angels Sr. Sec. School from 12th September to 14th September 2022. The event took place in the spacious playground of the school. The tournament comprised of volley ball matches for Senior, Junior and Sub Junior Boys category.
The mega sports tournament was the first of its kind after the pandemic phase, hence, excitement was euphoric among the participating teams from the various schools of the ZONE-17, West B. More than 50 teams participated in the series of matches in various categories.
Perseverance and tenacity are often the foundational traits of success. When these are combined with dedication and teamwork, the result is outstanding. Our school also participated in the tournament. Our team secured FIRST POSITION in SENIOR BOYS CATEGORY and turned out to be SECOND RUNNER UP IN JUNIOR BOYS CATEGORY. The day was filled with exciting victories. The tournament concluded with an inspiring and motivating words of our highly esteemed Vice-Principal Sir, Mr. Naveen Bhardwaj. The event turned out to be a great success.
