May the spirit of patriotism and love for our country lead us towards a brighter future
15 August 1947, the date any Indian can hardly forget, the day of freedom, the day that brought hope, the day that made India independent, is celebrated with the same hope, enthusiasm, happiness, and patriotism every year. Our school also celebrated the 77th Independence Day on 14th August 2023 with great patriotic fervour and zeal.
The celebration of Independence Day began with the traditional and auspicious flag hoisting ceremony. The flag hoisting was done by our distinguished Managing Director, followed by the National Anthem. On this pleasurable day, our respected Managing Director inspired the students with her motivating words.
A beautiful programme was put up by the students of the school that included patriotic songs, dances, poems and speeches. It began with the melodious patriotic song that was a blend of cosmic tune and divine music! Thereafter was a lovely presentation by our tiny tots of Nursery wing. Then a few students enlightened everyone with importance of this auspicious day through their beautiful poems and informative speeches in English and Hindi. It was followed by a mesmerising dance performance by the students of classes VI to VIII. It was a wonderful medley of dance and music. The programme culminated with a breath-taking performance by the boys of VII and VIII who presented some Yoga Asanas that involved various movements, figures, and mesmerizing formations which engrossed its audience to the core. Thereafter our respected Vice Principal Sir was invited to the stage to conclude the programme with the National Anthem. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Orientation is a time for students and parents to learn about the school’s policies and procedures. It allows students and parents to connect with the school faculty members and receive support as they begin their journey. To make the parents understand the academic programs, orientation was organized for classes Nursery to V on 15 April 2023 and for classes VI to VIII on 29 April 2023 in the school auditorium. The purpose of this program was to make the parents aware of the National Education Policy (NEP), provide them with information the school believes is critical to the success of our students, the rules and regulations of the school and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students. The Orientation program was quite helpful as it provided useful advice and information to the parents. Teachers’ friendliness and positive energy was appreciated by all.
