Its main objective was to benefit the students and teacher through new strategies, techniques, or tips that can be utilized in the classroom.
12. The principle motive of our school is to provide desirable knowledge, skills and attitudes to our students. All the teachers attended CBSE Training sessions to explore the key ingredients, encourage deeper understanding and make learning explicit. The trainings also enabled teachers to get a better understanding of children classroom behavior.
13. To improve upon and inspire an individual is great, but greater still is inspiring a group, and with this in our mind, we organized Parent Orientation.
14. Before I proceed towards the details of our activities for this session, I would like to give you a brief description about how we start our day and then keep our children involved throughout. The day starts with the morning assembly followed by OM chanting at the beginning of class to settle the energy with the vibrations that feel the classroom. Next we ensure that every day we incorporate the moral values in our children through moral stories.
15. We believe that we should march along with time. Hence, our teaching and learning method is not limited to papers. We have smart boards installed in all the classes. It provides visual and tactile students with an enriched learning experience.
16. To bring students closer to traditional and cultural belief and build a close bond between the students, we had celebrated many festivals and celebrations like Holi, Baisakhi, Janmastami, Raksha Bandhan, Dusshera, Diwali, etc.
17. Earth Day, Mother’s Day, Friendship Day, Independence Day, Teachers Day, are few of other events which were celebrated to inculcate in students respect for India‘s rich heritage and diversity.
18. HEALTH CHECK UP by Medvin care was organized to determine that our children continues to have good health and hand in hand helps the children understand that sound health is an important step toward living a longer and healthier life.
19. Students suffer from emotional stress during their study years. Increase academic competitiveness, pressures to achieve higher grades, problems in interpersonal relationships, and poor career guidance are some of the stress-causing issues that students nowadays are faced with. And life, too, has a strange way of laying waste to our best-laid plans, elevating the stress faced by students. Counseling and therapy, when done in combination, are extremely effective at helping students navigate challenging circumstances. Keeping all this in mind, regular counselling sessions are organized for students by our school counsellor.
20. There were many activities which were conducted this session, however, as because of the time constraint, I would like to highlight few of them.
21. To start with, let me take you through the activities of Pre-primary.
22. A chance to be the centre of attraction and show off what they have to discuss, makes a student feel good about them. SHOW AND TELL is practiced in the classroom to help children improve appropriate social skills.
23. “A child’s development of his mind comes through his movements”. Students are encouraged not only in academic performance but also in improving their gross and fine motor skills. With the development of these skills a child is able to complete important tasks, such as, writing, feeding oneself, buttoning, etc.

27. Incorporating music and movement in early childhood education helps young children with social interaction and language growth, mental and physical development. We conduct Music, Dance and Physical Training along with Art and Craft classes on regular basis.
28. AWARENESS OF GOOD &BAD TOUCH is very important for the betterment of our young children. Alerting children is not enough, we have to teach them from a tender age what to do if ever they face an unacceptable situation and can deal with it. Our goal here is to inform your child about the dangers, without causing any anxiety.
29. “Learning is more effective when it is an active rather than passive process’. Our school has made it a point to focus on effective learning apart from normal classroom sessions. To make learning more interesting a theme is selected every month based on which activities, projects are assigned to children. They are then given opportunities to talk on the theme. Community helpers, transport, seasons, etc., were some of the themes of the year.
