CLASS II AND III

A workshop on Why to eat colourful fruits and vegetables was organised on 16.11.2018 for the students of Class II and III. The children were informed about the importance of eating a balanced Diet and How the problem of malnutrition can be overcome by eating the right amount of nutritions in one's diet.The children were also made realised that the eating Junk food may cause serious Health Hazards and home cooked food is the best food. Through the workshop our children understood the importance of fruits and vegetables for leading a Healthy Life.
CLASS PRE- PRIMARY AND I
02 NOVEMBER 2018, FRIDAY
With a view to create awareness regarding health our school organised a workshop on "Healthy Habits" for the students of classes Pre-Primary and I. The children were informed about the various healthy habits that are good for their health. They were motivated to incorporate Yoga and various sports activities in their daily routine as well as they realized the importance of cleanliness in their daily life.
BLUE AIR CHAMPIONS
22 OCTOBER 2018, TUESDAY
The workshop by Blue Air Champions was conducted in our school on 22.11.2018. The main aim of the workshop was to highlight the negative effects of air pollution on children’s mental and physical health. The session ended with a questionnaire. It was an entertaining session for the children.
HANDLING SCREEN MEDIA ADDICTION
CLASS IX AND X

A workshop on "Handling Screen Media Addiction" was conducted on 05.10.2018 for the students of the Classes IX and X. The main aim of the workshop was to make the children aware about the negative impact of Technology on their psychology and how it has decreased their concentration level.
ART AND CRAFT WORKSHOP
20 - 24 AUGUST 2018
A five day workshop on art and craft was organized by The Times of India group in our school. The students were taught a variety of drawing, painting techniques, collages, paper craft, puppets, mask, recycle crafts etc. A host of materials were used like balloons, Plaster of Paris, pieces of clothes, beads, broken crockery, match boxes, bottle and tube caps, newspapers, copy covers etc. The emphasis was on using inexpensive and waste material usually found lying around.
SAY NO TO ABUSE
CLASS IV AND V
17 AUGUST 2018, FRIDAY
A workshop on "Say No to Abuse" was conducted on 17.08.2018 for the students of the classes IV and V. The aim of the workshop was to equip the children with the knowledge and understanding they need to story safe from abuse and neglect. Children were taught to speak out if they are worried, to a trusted adult.
GOOD HABITS- HEALTH AND HYGIENE

Budha once said, "To keep the body in good health is a duty, otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear". Keeping this in mind a workshop on Good Habits- Health and Hygiene was conducted on 03 August 2018 for the students of Classes II and III. The students were taught about the importance of washing hands regularly in order to keep diseases at bay and they were also taught the 6 basic steps of washing hands properly.

A workshop on personality development was conducted for the girl students of classes VII and VIII. Qualities and Traits to enhance personality were discussed. Types of personalities like Mechanical Personality, Conventional Learning, Enterprising and Artistic Personalities were elaborate upon Health and Hygiene were focused in the discussion. A movie related to the above was discussed.
CLASS X 24 JULY 2018, TUESDAY
The Times of India in association with Merination.com conducted a workshop for the class X students of our school. It focused on developing key Mathematical skills and apitude. The workshop helped the students to breeze through the Mathematics syllabus and also helped them to discover that Mathematics can indeed be fun and interesting.
SAFE TOUCH AND UNSAFE TOUCH
CLASS PRE- PRIMARY AND I

Our School organised a workshop on "Safe Touchand unsafe Touch" on 20 July 2018. All the students from Pre-Primary and Class I actively participated in the engaging workshop where they were tought about their "Safe Zones". The speaker with the help of numerous videos, pictures, character play etc explained the students to differentiate and identify "bad touch" or other "uncomfortable behaviour" from others.
PROMOTIONAL WORKSHOP - LABAN

A promotional workshop was organized by Laban in the school premises on 11.05.2018 for classes VI to VIII. Children danced and played games and were given goodies. The session ended with a questionnaire. It was an entertaining session for the children.
WORKSHOP: REVISED SYSTEM OF ASSESSMENT, EXAMINATION AND REPORT CARD
A workshop on Revised System of Assessment, Examination and Report Card was conducted for all the staff members on Friday, 30th June 2017. The workshop was conducted by our Principal Madam, Mrs. Manisha Sengar and our staff member Mrs. Kavita Chauhan in order to upgrade the teachers with the revised assessment structure and examination pattern from Academic Year 2017-18 onwards.
WORKSHOP: FIRST AID AND RESCUE OPERATION
A workshop on FIRST AID AND RESCUE OPERATION, was conducted by New Delhi Disaster Management Committee on Tuesday, 21st February 2017. The aim of the workshop was to empower the children to become responsible citizens and further improve bystander imitated first aid and rescue efforts.
WORKSHOP: ON EFFECTIVE TEACHING
Ratna Sagar regularly hosts seminars and workshops, in its ongoing programme for effective education. To make the teaching-learning process wholesome, engaging and an enriching experience, a workshop on ‘Effective Teaching’ was organized by Ratna Sagar on Friday, 13th January 2017. The workshop highlighted the need of technology as a major tool to reduce the gap in the teaching – learning process. Emphasis was also laid upon ‘Group Discussion’ and the art of ‘Scaffolding’ to be held in the classroom. The workshop proved to be very informative.
WORKSHOP: GOOGLE WEB RANGERS
Two students Manisha Manocha (VIII A) and Dev Sharma (IX A) of our school accompanied by a Computer Teacher, Ms. Swati Garg, attended a workshop organised by Google Web Rangers and the resource person was Uma Balan at ASN, Mayur Vihar on Thursday 4th August 2016.
Workshop focussed on Hacking, Cyber Bullying, Digital Footprint, Evaluation of a Website. It also provided guidelines on how to be safe while surfing the Internet and few tips for password security etc. Students were also given certificates and badges.
Litchi Health Champs organised workshops for all the students of our school. They stressed on the Nutritional requirement of the children.
A workshop on Cyber Security was conducted on Friday, 8th January 2016. It acted as an eye opener and was very informative. All the staff members got to know about the security measures related to the internet access. Teachers were also told about Google Products, Debit/ Credit Card Security, Wifi Security and E-Mail Security.The Resource Persons were Mr. Shailender Gupta, Ms. Swati Garg and Ms. Rupinder Kaur.
A workshop on Formative Assessment was conducted on Tuesday, 5th January 2016. The Resource person was Ms. Ankita Kakkar. The workshop was conducted to upgrade the teachers with the kinds of activities to be included in FA and how to assess the activities.
A workshop on Life Skills (Thinking, Social and Emotional Skills) was conducted for all the staff members on Monday, 4th January 2016. The Resource Persons were our Principal Ms. Manisha Sengar and Ms. Kavita Chauhan. The workshop was held to apprise the teachers with the significance of Life Skills and its implication in student's life. An activity on Social issues was also done by all the teachers.
WORKSHOP: LITCHI GROUP
A workshop organised by Litchi Group was conducted on 15th December 2015. A cartoon movie on healthy breakfast was shown to the kids and they learnt to eat healthy breakfast.

A Promotional workshop was organised by Cartoon Network Channel in association with Harshey's and Fru Juicy Jelly in the school premises on Tuesday, 18th August 2015 for classes I to VIII. Children showcased roles of various characters of the show 'Adventure Time'. Children danced and played games and were given goodies. The session ended with a questionnaire. It was an entertaining session for the children.

Aakash Institute organised a workshop for the students of classes IX and X. The students were told about the various career Opportunities in Science stream. Students were motivated and made aware about Time Management. An Aptitude Test was conducted by them for classes XI and XII on Thursday, 13th August 2015.
PROMOTIONAL WORKSHOP: NARAYANA INSTITUTE
A motivational session for the students of class X was organised by Narayana Institute on Tuesday, 11th August 2015. The session included the benefits of NTSE, its pattern of questions and general discussion related to career selection.
KIPS organised a workshop on IT Updates on Tuesday, 11th August 2015. Students were apprised regarding Cloud Computing, Hacking, Windows Movie Maker, Open Source Software, IT Personalities, Social Media Marketing, RSS, CAPTCHA etc. It was highly informative.
WORKSHOP BY OLX.IN
A workshop was conducted in our school by Mansi Ani from Olx.in on Tuesday,4th August 2015. All the students from classes VIII to X were a part of their Ideathon For a Cleaner India Campaign. They introduced the campaign by an inspiring video showing the teenagers who inspired the whole Nation rather the whole World. Few questions were asked and some ideas for better and Clean India were discussed. They encouraged the students to put up their ideas for a contest on the website to reduce the littering by the people and promote 'Swach Bharat Abhiyan' !
To keep the parents apprise with CCE pattern and Evaluation, an Orientation programme was organised for the parents of students of classes VI to XII on Saturday, 1st August 2015. Parents were told about the importance of School Almanac, Discipline and social behaviour of the children. They were also introduced to the system of Revision Tests and other activities of the school.
A workshop by Future Edge was organised for class IX- X and Turning Point for class XI on Tuesday, 21st July 2015. Students were told about the importance of motivation in academics and how to achieve short term goals. They were also made aware about the various career options after studyng Science.
Health Check up camp was organised from 15th July 2015 to 17th July 2015 int the school premises by Litchi Group. All the students from class Pre-Primary to Class XII were medically examined.

Workshop For Teachers
Times Group organised a workshop on Monday, 18th May 2015, on Teaching Aids for teachers. Teachers were told how to make teaching aids colourful and attractive so that they can grasp the attention of the children. Various Teaching aids related to the concept of Colours, Animals, Numbers, Shapes were made. Collage making, Puppet making and Poster Making were also like cherry on the cake.

A workshop for parents was conducted by Litchi Group Health Champs on Saturday 16th May, 2015. Parents were counselled about the psychological problems of the children, they also had one on one session with parents to solve the problems of their children.

Litchi Knowledge Centre Pvt. Ltd. organised a workshop for all the students of our school.
All the students gathered knowledge and were motivated to follow it in their daily lives.
One on One Interaction with parents was conducted by the Litchi Group about the health of their children on Wednesday, 31st December 2014.
First, the students were medically examined and then the parents were counselled about their children's problems and health related issues. Parents were also given a unique ID to keep themselves abreast with their children's health.
VISIT BY A SCIENTIST
A distinguished Scientist, from NASA community leader and historian Dr. Nazeer Ahmed visited our School on Wednesday 24th December 2014. Currently he is Executive Director of the American Institute of Islamic History and culture and is also visiting Dean at the HMS Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. He holds a PhD degree from Cornell University.
He told the students about the use of science in our day to day activities and how it is a boon for us. He was delighted to answer the questions asked by the students.
WORKSHOP BY MANAV RACHNA UNIVERSITY

A Workshop for classes XI and XII was conducted by Manav Rachna University. Students were told about the Importance of planning, Time Management, Effective Communication etc.
The Students were encouraged to set up their long term and short term goals and to improve their personality.
A Computer Workshop for classes IX to XII was held on 27.10.2014 by Cup of Technology. Students were told about the different Cyber crimes like Hacking, Types of Hacking , Stealing one's data, Cloning of Credit and Debit Card, Hacking of the camera and loops of CCTV.
They were made aware about card cloning machine, leaking of the data without logging in. Some safety measures were given while using Social Networking sites like Facebook.
FIRE MOCK DRILL
A fire mock drill was organised in the school on 15.07.14 at 11.00 am. A fire alarm was sounded and the students started vacating the school along with the teachers. The whole school was evacuated. Teachers were also trained to use the fire extinguisher and to put off the fire, they pulled the extinguisher and got ready to use it.
A workshop was conducted by Turning Point Institute for classes X and XI - Science Stream on 16.05.2014. It aimed to make the students aware of the various career opportunities in Science stream. The students were told about Astro Science, Astronautical Physics etc. They made the students aware about various Government agencies and NGOs and how they help and fund the education of bright students.
They aimed to encourage students of Basic sciences, TP take up careers in Research.
An orientation was organised for the students of classes VI - X along with their parents. The aim of the orientation was to make the parents aware of C.C.E (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation ) pattern of examination by C.B.S.E.
It was an initiative from the school to keep the students and parents abreast with the methods and ways of studying and also inculcate moral and cultural values in our students.
It was a huge success and parents came in large numbers to attend it and left satisfied and encouraged.
TRAINING PROGRAMME ON DISASTER MANAGEMENT
A specialised training programme was conducted in our school by the DDMA (west) on 17.02.2014 from 8:30 to 11:30 on Disaster Management. The representatives of these fields discussed the various steps to be taken during disaster. A practical demonstration of the same was also given. Mr. Avtar Singh and Mr. Naresh Kumar were the resource persons. The following areas were covered during the training session:
1. Training on First Aid- In this they explained about various disasters like sudden unconsciousness in the school assembly, fire, burns, fracture and treatment for the same.
2. Search and Rescue- Here, they discussed about the various techniques for search and rescue during disaster and also explained fire safety measures.
3. Street Play- The representatives demonstrated various fire and earthquake related techniques.
The entire programme was informative and enlightening. Refreshments were also distributed among the students. The initiave taken by DDMA ( west) is highly appreciable.
A WORKSHOP BY QUAKER OATS
A workshop on ' Go Whole Grains' was conducted by Quaker Oats. The workshop was conducetd in order to make the students aware about the Importance of Whole Grain and its three important parts i.e Bran, Endosperm and Germ. The top five foods listed in the workshop were:
1) Whole Grain Wheat Bread
2) Bowl of Oats
3) Whole Grain Chapati
4) Oats Smoothie
5) Whole Grain Idli
Thus, the workshop proved to be of a great help as it explained the students the benefits of rich whole grain diet over Junk food.
WORKSHOP ON ROBOTICS
As we all know that this is the era of "Robots", keeping this in mind, a workshop on 'Workshop on 'Robotics' was conducted in our school by a Robotics Academy called 'Robo Genics'. The Resource person, Mrs. Meena Vyas, explained that it is an excellent multidisciplinary program that offers an engaging, practical and hands on learning experience for students to inculcate interest towards Science and Technology in the minds of young people. Through the practical experience of assembling and constructing the various parts of a Robot, students were able to discover the important connection between theoritical concepts and real world application, an experience vital for success in the 21st centuary !!!
This workshop really, gave the students a new experience.
WORKSHOP ON NETWORK SECURITY
A workshop was conducted during summer vactions for classes IX to XII students by IACM, Institute. The main motive of workshop was to make the students understand the following major issues of internet technology: How to prevent the hacking of Different Accounts?, How to access the PC when the password of the same has been forgotten?, How to identify fake e-mails?
WORKSHOP ON INVESTOR AWARENESS PROGRAMME
A workshop on Investor Awareness Programme by Voice Society was conducted to empower and educate consumers. The main emphasis was on the brilliant utilisation of money, risk management and various sources of investment. A short movie was also shown to make the message more effective and clear. The importance of Family Welfare Economics and Taxation was also explained in detail. The cruz of the workshop that really impressed the teachers was:Be rich, be humble and be helpful.
WORKSHOP ON SELF GROOMING
A workshop on Self Grooming and Class Management was conducted by Vandana Tandon from Times Group. The workshop offered essential grooming, tips on personal hygiene and soft skills training. It aimed at helping people project a healthy attitude in relation to class room management . It incorporated building a modest wardrobe, accessories reflecting the personality of an individual. It also aimed at developing positive attitude in life. This workshop proved very fruitful for the entire staff.
WORKSHOP BY TAKSHILA INSTIT UTE
A workshop for both engineering and medical aspiration was conducted by Takshila Institute in our school. They focussed on making the students understand that how Takshila Institute with their unique "Teaching Methodology" and "Student first philosophy" make all students thoroughly knowledgeable along with temperament to face the examination as knowledge alone cannot meet success in any competitive examination.
WORKSHOP BY DIGITALLY
Learning at its best takes place when it is supported by visuals. Visual treat adds on the retention ability of a child .With this aim, Yet another workshop on Smart Classes was held in the School. Technology has brought revolution in the world. Now with the same aim it is entering into the field of education as well. Educomp a leading company in the field of Education and Technology held a workshop in LAPS to aware the teachers about the smart classes. The workshop showed the benefit of introducing Educomp smart Kit in classes. The Kit comprised of a Shadow-free projector especially designed for break free teaching. Different modules of different subjects are provided for hassle free teaching - learning process. On the spot assessment papers to help the teacher understand the effect of the lecture delivered. The kit makes the evaluation, assessment and remedial processes easy. The workshop was well appreciated by the teachers!
WORKSHOP ON CAREER COUNSELLING
A workshop on career counselling was held in the school. The director of Singh Study Circle, Mr. Joginder Singh, conducted the workshop. He spoke about the better education and greater access to education students would get by joining this institute. The institute aims at helping the students live smartly and intelligently. He motivated the students to decide their dream goal and hence proceed in a specific manner. He inspired the students to discover and develop scientific ways of learning, new memory techniques to learn topics, deliver consistent and high quality content that would also develop leadership skills in them. The students seemed motivated by his words. This workshop indeed proved to be beneficial to the students.
WINGS TO FLY
Frankfin - India's leading training institute in Aviation and Hospitality organised a workshop in the school.
Students of classes XI and XII were made a part of this workshop. The aim of this workshop was to aware the students about the growing Avitation Industry and the wider career opportunity after XII. The Institute offers multiple options for part-time vocational courses in Avitation, Hospitality and Travel Management. It promises the students International Qualification (as a part of exclusive tie up with ICM, U.K). It also aims at growing their personality, make them confident and dynamic.
Our Angelites attended this workshop with great enthusiasm and they seemed absorbed in the broader career aspect the Aviation industry promises to them. Frankfin indeed gave our students wings to fly and reach the Sky!
WORKSHOP ON VEDIC MATHEMATICS
Venue - St. Mark School, Meera Bagh
Workshop was conducted by Aditi Singal, founder of Dynamic Minds Group, Vedic Maths expert par excellence. She has to her credit two National Records for Memory and Fastest Calculation. She explained various techniques and benefits of Vedic Mathematics. Vedic Mathematics is the fastest system of mental mathematics where by big calculations are computed easily in one line using simple smart techniques. The shortcut formulae make it possible for students to multiply a 20 - digit number by a 20 - digit number, without using pen and paper with 0% error. Main benefits of vedic Maths are that it eliminates Maths-phobia, increases that it eliminates Maths - phobia, increases speed and accuracy and increases visualization and concentration abilities.
A SIMPLE TRICK FOR A SAFE LIFE
Indian Oil Corporation organised a safety workshop in the School. It aimed at judicious and safe use of LPG cylinders. The workshop was conducted for 8th to 11th class students where they were taught to conserve LPG handle emergencies. Magic tricks were shown to them for a better understanding . Safety Rules to use LPG were told.
Students took keen interest in this workshop and were happy to learn simple tricks for safer life.
WORKSHOP BY SCHOLAR'S ACADEMY
A workshop was organised by the Scholar's Academy for the Science students of Class XI and XII. Guidelines on how to crack the entrance exams of IIT - AIEEE, DCE, CPMT etc.were provided.

WORKSHOP ON 'SUSTAINABILITY'
A Team from Mahindra headed by Mr. D.S.Bhatnagar, Head North Mahindra Powerol Business conducted a workshop on 'Sustainability'. The other team members were Mr. Sushil Divedi, Mahindra Green Champion, Mumbai and Mr. Abdul Hamid Bhatt, Mahindra Champion, Srinagar, J&K. They brought home the point of the need of creating an awareness in the students about environmental issues which have posed a great threat to mankind all over the world.
They also emphasised upon the duty of every individual to preserve the resources available. Mr. D.S. Bhatnagar forcefully voiced his opinion about the need to sustain 'Nature and Human Life'. Mr. Abdul Hamid Bhatt, in collaboration with the student community all over India has successfully launched a 'Tree Plantation Drive' with a motive of reviving 'Green City'. Mr. Sushil Divedi, showed a Powerpoint Presentation of a documentary film 'An Inconvenient Truth' which highlighted the gruesome effects of 'Global Warming' on the World. This was followed by a Questionnaire session. Four winning Trophies were given to the meritorious children. The school also was presented a Trophy for its active participation in promoting awareness on such environmental issues. Our Principal, Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar, alongwith the Mahindra Team and School Staff did the 'Tree Plantation'.
INSTALLATION OF ROLLYPOLLY
It is a device that converts waste into manure. We generate a lot of Biological waste in the school like waste paper, fruit peels, waste food etc. This can be easily converted into manure at no cost, to provide nutrition to the flowering plants in our garden. The device installed is a polygonal drum like structure with a cow like flexible mouth. It undergoes Aerobic bacterial fermentation, gradually passing through various compartments and takes 45- 50 days to convert into productive manure. This is the best method of generating 'Best out of Waste' adopted by our school.
CAREER COUNSELLING ON SELECTION IN NDA
Mr. C.S Kataria from the Military Academy conducted a workshop for the students of Class XII, to guide them on the various options available to them after leaving the portals of the school. UPSC conducts the NDA exams twice in a year. He brought home the various advantages of joining the armed forces like exotic lifestyle, job guarantee after selection, high pay scales and other allowances, medical benefits and overall a sophisticated and well groomed personality. He lured the students towards this profession by showing them various videos of the IMA, Dehradun. The children displayed keen interest and submitted their names to Mr. Kataria. Overall it was an enriching moment for the students the resources available.
WORKSHOP ON 'TEACHING OF MATHEMATICS'
A Phobia of Mathematics persists in the minds of the children, even though innovative techniques are being introduced from time to time. To inculcate interest in the children through simplified methods, a workshop was conducted by Ms. Nishu Khurana on 'Quadrilaterals' for Class VII and VIII and Ms. Vandana Sharma on 'Addition' for class I and II.
WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS ON 'COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH'
'Ratna Sagar Publications' conducted a workshop on how to teach 'Communicative English' in the classrooms. Stress was laid upon the four skills namely speaking, listening, reading and writing to be drilled through interactive method. Emphasis was laid upon 'Group Discussions' and the art of 'Scaffolding' to be held in the classrooms. Methods to deal with 'Poetry' were also discussed during the session. It is important that teaching should be student oriented rather than teacher oriented.
WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS ON 'ABACUS'
On 26th March, mathematics workshop was conducted by Sanjiv Malhotra, representative of ALOHA educational institute. ALOHA is the first institution in India to be awarded the highly coveted ISO 9001:2000 certification in the field of 'ABACUS EDUCATION'. This institute runs various programmes out of which Mental Arithmetic is one of them. What is Abacus? How is it used? Methods to improve mathematical calculations in seconds, faster than calculator was explained with the help of Abacus in the workshop. The main purpose of this programme is to endow not only speed and accuracy in calculations but also to help the child in various aspects like building concentration, grasping ability and improving memory.
WORKSHOP OF 'CHOWDER'S FUN FOOD FUNDA'
A 'Food Dressing' competition was held for classes IV-VII. The teams were divided into two : 'Hajmola Candy team and Big Babool Team'. The teams were given a shopping basket with a time span of 10 minutes where they had to display their culinary skills. The students prepared the dishes enthusiastically and won many prizes.
WORKSHOP ON SURAKSHA AND SANGRAKSHAN SANGHOSHTI BY INDANE GROUP
A Workshop by the Magician Akhileah Jaswal was conducted regarding all the safety points to be adhered to while working in the kitchen. The message was communicated through the magical tricks performed, starting from safety of pressure cooker to maintenance of the gas cylinder was covered under the workshop. It was indeed resourceful.
WORKSHOP BY JOHNSON & JOHNSON
A Workshop for the Girls of Classes VI - IX was conducted by the Group headed by Dr. Sadhna from Action Balaji Hospital, Paschim Vihar. The problems related to 'Hormonal Changes' and awareness regarding 'Personal Health and Hygiene' was explicitly explained through a movie. Questionnaire was given to the children and their queries were answered by the Doctor.
SEMINAR ON THE NEED OF POLICE INTERACTION WITH THE STUDENTS
A Seminar was organized by the police department. The S.H.O, Delhi West addressed the students to sensitize them towards the heinous crimes taking place in the society. He highlighted the need of inculcating the feeling of patriotism in children. He advised the children to be alert and report of any untoward incidents. Need to follow the rules and regulations was highlighted. Warning against driving vehicles by the students and wandering in the markets was given. He stressed that the children of today need to be the good citizens of the nation tomorrow .
WORKSHOP ON CAREER COUNSELING BY WISDOM MART
To empower the students plan out their careers, a group of professionals from Wisdom Mart, conducted a workshop for the students. They offered information of the Top Universities, interview preparation and guidance for the U.S.A student's Visa. A brief was given on clearance of exams like IELTS, TOFEL and SAT I & II. An aptitude test was given to the students.

WORKSHOP ON 'TOUCH THE LIGHT' PROGRAM BY ISHWARIYA VISHWA VIDYALAYA
The Youth wing of Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya conducted a workshop with the aim of redefining excellence by developing a holistic personality of individuals. This is particularly for Class VII. The main focus of this project is to rejuvenate the voice of values across disciplines, whether it is education, business, science, media, jurists or even politics.We wish to encourage "Living Values" which will lead to a value based society and thereby a value based nation. This program will focus on increased concentration, awareness about values, shift of focus from negativity towards positivity, spiritual awakening, help building effective personality, knowledge about virtues and behavioural positive changes like positive attitude and positive approach towards life.

The workshop was conducted by the corporate trainer presenting the first of its kind degree programs - BBA and MBA in aviation. The children were informed about the training imparted for the plum cabin crew and ground staff posting. Children could opt for courses like Airport Management, Air Hostess Training, Flight Steward Training, Ground Staff Services. It was valuable and informative.

A Workshop to introduce the 'Concept of Training' for careers in the Aviation and the Hospitality industries was organised for the class XI and XII. They informed the students about the diploma offered in the Aviation and Hospitality Course. They also briefed the students about the curriculum and the career prospects of this field. The institution also offers lifetime placements assistance to its students. This was indeed a valuable source of information for the students.
