SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

FOOD CARNIVAL - 17th November 2018

“Food is the ingredient that binds us together ”.

Food Carnival - a unique platform of food fest where culinary skills blend in perfection and master piece is created. From Juniors to Seniors, each class prepared its own stall. For the parents, it was a treat free of cost.The menu comprised of ' Pav Bhaji', ' Papri Chaat', 'Chana-Zor-Garam', 'Vegetable Noodles', 'Vegetable Burger', 'Hara Bhara Kababs', ' Matar Paneer and Parantha' and ' Chana Bhatura'. In dessert we had 'Doodh Pakodi' and 'Fruit Custard'. Students also showcased their dancing talent by grooving on different dance numbers. The special attraction was LUCKY DIP!. and other games which everyone enjoyed. Parents tried their luck at wining gift hampers. Everyone relished and enjoyed it to the fullest.

SARV DHARAM BHAJAN SANDHYA - 3rd November 2018


“The essence of all religions is one, only their approaches are different”.

A common tenet of Hinduism is “Sarva Dharma Sambhava” which literally means that all Dharmas are equal.They are merely different paths to God or the same spiritual goal. Keeping this in mind the 17th Sarv Dharma Bhajan Sandhya was organized on 3rd November 2018. Its significance in the School relates to inculcating religious tolerance among students, thereby, teaching them the values of secularism and reverence. Bhai Mahavir Sharma, Prabhash Kumar Jha, Baljeet Kaur and gifted members of our staff recited Bhajans from all religious texts.This was followed by "Bhandara" distribution.

This day is also dedicated to Col. Sir, the Founder Manager and mentor who left for heavenly abode on 22nd October 2007. His unabated principles have been cherished and nurtured by many in the School.

SCIENCE AND SUPW EXHIBITION 25th August 2018

The Annual Science and SUPW Exhibition was organised on 25th August 2018. It is organised every year with a view to encourage and circulate a scientific temper amongst students. Our honourable Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Y. P Purang.
Distinct venues were allotted for the different subjects for the display of projects made by the students. As one entered the Reception area itself, one could feel the Pulse and the magnitude of the event ! The entire school was abuzz with activity.

AIR III – V

The composition of air was depicted with the help of Piecharts. The presence of various gases in the air and their uses in our daily life were shown with the help of display material and models. Certain line experiments demonstrated the various properties of air.

VI-VIII Topic: Optimum Health

'Optimum health requires the mind, pysical body and spirit to be in balance. Keeping this in mind, physical, Social, Emotional, Spiritual and Mental aspects of optimum health were exhibited. Many working models were displayed by the students like Eco Air Cooler, Water overflow alarm, Aquaponics, Terrarium, Electric Fan, Snow bulb, Electric Generator, Pressure Fountain and Air Exert Pressure.

IX-XII
PHYSICS

The students displayed the working models on the theme 'Indian Armed forces'. The models represented the armed forces in terms of artillery, security and machinery. The displayed models were like home security alarm tank, rocket launcher submarine, Voltage booster, Car Engine, Motor Boat, Green City and production of electricity by Electromagnetic Induction.

CHEMISTRY 

The students displayed the working models on Chromatography, Ferromagnetic fluids, indicators ( like red cabbage indications) and many more. These models are based on application which are used in daily life with the help of Chromatography, We can find the drugs present in blood, with the help of indicators we distinguish the given compound in acid and base.

BIOLOGY

The students displayed working models on Origin of life, Hydroponic, Verticle irrigation , Sewage Treatment plant, Artificial Kidney, Excretory System, Circulatory System, Aroma, Drip irrigation, Water Harvesting System.

COMMERCE  DEPARTMENT

The commerce department displayed the movement from cash to cashless economy. Growth and opportunities for India. The department focussed on how digital payments are all set to grow ten times by twenty to fight balck money and corruption by displaying charts and models on asvantages and precautions to be taken to go cashless.

MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT

CLASSES III - VIII

The Students displayed various activities based on various mathematical topics such as formation of nets of three dimensional shapes, deriving square numbers, from triangular patterns use of symmetry in Maths, proving angle sum derivation of quotient using division machine and trick for calculation of birthday date.

CLASSES IX - XI

The students displayed various models showing derivated of spiral square root, explaining Quadratic Equation , Euilids, Axioms and 5th Postulate representing coordinate on three dimensional octect, formation of Pascal's Triangle, meaning of Parabola and Ellipse.

SOCIAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

The theme of the department was ‘Preamble’. All the guiding principles of teh Preamble were explained with the help of various beautiful charts and wonderful models.

The Students showcased the culinary skills by presenting Paneer delights, Baked snacks, Mouth Watering Wraps , smoothies, Detox Wafers, Chinese cusines etc.

ART AND CRAFT DEPARTMENT

Art and Craft department laid emphasis on decorative utility articles made out of waste material like PhotoFrame, Pen Holding, multipurpose boxes, key holders, flower vase, naphin holders and hanging. Tie and dye, Madhubani, Rajasthani work were also  exhibited.

CLASSES I and II

Our Little Angelites depicted the various sources of water like- Pond, Lake, Waterfall. Ocean, river, Hand Pump, Rainwater harvesting. They also showcased various methods to save water. Art and Craft work was also beautifully displayed.

COMPUTER DEPARTMENT

The students of classes XI and XII showcased their abilities in presenting various projects in Netbeans, C++. The Juniors presented their skills in making games, presentations, websites, various prevenntions to be safe online, facts of technology, different animation movies, designing in photoshop, using Google Drive and much more. The Primary students exhibited the use of Various Embedded Systems.

The following themes were covered:

a. Cyber Hub: Many of the children were actively working on the computer showing their expertise.

b. Little Hands at work: The room was decorated with worksheets and craft work done by little hands using various decorative material.

c. Akshar Gyan: The lines were spoken by Primary Children and the display was done accordingly.

d. My Mother Earth: the theme of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was displayed. The children showcased, plant life, paper bags, pollution and its impart.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION - 14th August 2018

Meet the Young India,

Emerging with flying colors,

Dynamic and Versatile in every manner.

Keeping this in mind, Our school celerated 72nd Independence Day with great patriotic fervor, zeal and zest. The function began with the unfurling of the National Flag by our respected Managing Director, Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar.

A series of displays showcased the agility and strength of the energetic students. The tiny tots touched a chord in every heart with their enthralling performance. The other students demonstrated a different way to improve the health through various drills. The other display - Lazium, Yoga and Dumbles were greatly appreciated.

The day was made more colourful with wonderful cultural programme consisting various dance performances depicting the true colours of our Indian culture.

HOLIDAY HOMEWORK DISPLAY - 4th August 2018

Our school organized the Holiday Homework Display on 4th August 2018. The aesthetic and meticulous display of projects, models, charts, files, wall hangings and best out of waste material exemplified the talent of our students exquisitely.
The toil and labour of our students brought home sincere appreciation and words of praise from parents and teachers. The display was a successful endeavor that invited overwhelming response from each and every one.
    

REPUBLIC DAY

 

REPUBLIC DAY - 25th January 2018

26th of January is a gala day for every Indian. On 26th Jan. 1950, the Constitution of India came into force and our country, India became the Republic. We celebrate this day as a festival every year. This year it was celebrated with pomp and show in our school. Our Honourable Managing Director, Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar, unfurled the national flag. This was followed by our National Anthem. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to uphold the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “India”. The colourful and patriotic presentation by students was real feast for our head and heart. The Patriotic song and varied dance performances brought forward the essence and spirit of Indianans. Finally, the programme concluded with the Principal delivering words of patriotism and wisdom by quoting great leaders. She wished that worldwide students grow up as responsible citizens and remain connected to their roots. 
Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and promise to make it a better place for all Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.The programme ended with the distribution of sweets.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION - 23rd December 2017

Christmas is a time to give and forgive. Celebrated everywhere as a joyous family affair, we too, at school celebrated christmas as a happy time for our children. Our little children of I and II celebrated the day with great enthusiasm. To mark the celebration they sang Christmas carols and also enjoyed the following activities.

1. Christmas Tree, Santa Claus and Reindeer were made by the students of Class I.

2. Santa Claus, Christmas Bells and Christmas Tree were made by the students of Class II.

DIWALI CELEBRATION - 19th OCTOBER 2017

The celebration of Diwali, 'The festival of lights' came alive at our school when the whole school wore a festive look with Diyas and Lanterns adoring the corridors in bright colours. Management and staff celebrated Diwali with fervor seeking the blessings of Mahalaxmi, wishing brightness, prosperity and joy to all the members of "Angels Pariwar." On this auspicious day, The Managing Director, Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar also distributed gifts as token of love to all the staff members.

Diwali - A festival full of memories, sky full of fireworks, mouth full of sweets, house full of diyas and heart full of enjoyment.

Diwali activity "Kuch Meetha ho Jaye" was done in the class on 18th October 2017. Sweet dishes were made and children enjoyed eating them.

The Goods and Services Tax has changed the Indian Taxation System from multiple taxes to single tax system. It’s affects and impact on industry, trade and commerce were shown by the students of classes XI and XII.

The theme of the department was ‘Diversity in India’. Diversity in food, religion and language were shown by the students. Geographical diversity was shown with the help of 3D models. Various PPTs were prepared by the students. Flash movies, Artistic Drawings using Paint were shown. The main highlight of the exhibition was the awareness on ‘Blue Whale Game’.

Parents and friends enjoyed visiting the art exhibition in the Pre-Primary wing. All the classes of the Pre-Primary made artworks. Our young pupils were very happy and proud to guide their parents and show them their good work. Our tiny-tots also showcased their expertise in computers.

Our school celerated 71st Independence Day with great patriotic fervor, zeal and zest. the function began with the unfurling of the National Flag by our respected Managing Director, Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar. A patriotic song, an inspiring Hindi poem and an English speech were the main highlights of the celebration. In the end our respected Managing Director inspired the students by her precious words. She told the students about the supreme sacrifice the great martyrs gave for the sake of freedom and how it was necessary to preserve it.

Our school organized the Holiday Homework Display on 15th July 2017. The aesthetic and meticulous display of projects, models, charts, files, wall hangings and best out of waste material exemplified the talent of our students exquisitely.
The toil and labour of our students brought home sincere appreciation and words of praise from parents and teachers. The display was a successful endeavor that invited overwhelming response from each and every one.
The parents, after viewing the Holiday Homework Display, moved to the newly constructed Auditorium. They were made aware of the recent developments made in the school – installations of AC/s in all the classrooms, of new classrooms. They were also told about the new pattern of examination system to be followed in the Academic Session 2017-2018.

Earth day was celebrated at our school to prove and carry forward the task that we are consciously aware of our existence as a thread within the whole web called Nature and not the creators. CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATION

Constitution Day also known as "Samvidhan Divas" is celebrated in India on 26th November since 2015. On this day in 1949, constituent Assembly on India adopted the constitution of India which later came into effect on 26th January 1950. Previously this day was celebrated as "Law Day".To mark the celebration, a special assembly was organised where in the mass reading of the Preamble to the Constitution was done.

To commemorate the 9th 'Puniya Tithi' of Lt. Col. Surjit Singh Mehar, Founder Manager of the School, all staff members participated in 'Sukhmani Sahib Path' in the morning.

On this day Children are also motivated towards activities of community services, wherein the students donated the ration for the underprivileged which was sent to 'Child Old Blind Home Welfare Society' in Nangloi.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

Scholastic organised a book fair in the School Premises on Saturday 1st October 2016 for the parents as well as students . Variety of books were on the display including fictional stories, encyclopedia, puzzles ,activities books etc. It gave an opportunity to look for differenet genre of the books and buy them.

Janamashtami was celebrated in the school by class I and II on Wednesday, 24th August 2016. Children came dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha. Significance of the festival was told to the children. A cradle of Lord Krishna was made.ACTIVITIES: Flutes and Matkis were made and decorated with glitters and mirrors.

SCIENCE AND S.U.P.W EXHIBITION - 13th August 2016

Science and SUPW Exhibition was held in the School on Saturday, 13th August 2016. Students presented various models, projects, experiments to depict various themes. Parents came to see the hard work done by the students.

CLASS I & II

Our Little Angelites of classes I and II presented types of plants and their uses.They also showed and explained germination of seeds.

SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

Classes III – V showcased “Animal World”, how they are useful to us ,”Endangered Animals” and how they can be saved.Classes VI – VIII displayed “Wonder Weeds – The most unloved plants” and Fragrance Persona.Classes IX-XIII display various models on use of solar energy, hydraulic crane , biogas plant, pollination etc.They also presented fun with chemical through Golden Rain, Genie in the bottle. Students also  presented Dengue Awareness Program.

MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT

Students displayed various models and projects showing Integers, Exponents, Lines and Angles, Congruent Triangle, Height and Distances, Euclid Geometry etc. They also showed the use of Mathematics in different spheres of life.

SOCIAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

The theme of Social Science Department was revolutionary discoveries of Ancient India which originated in the country. Students presented Nalanda University, Ayurveda, Yoga, Cotton gin etc.

COMMERCE DEPARTMENT

 Student of Classes XI and XII presented an action plan to show boost in investment in 25 sectors under the initiative taken by honourable Prime Minister ‘s  project titled 'Make In India' to make India an important Global Manufacturing Hub.

HOME SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

Student showcase their culinary skills by presenting Health Diets, Baked Foods, Fruit tits bits, Charts etc.Adulteration in the food stuff was also shown.

ART AND CRAFT DEPARTMENT

Art and Craft Department laid emphasis on decorative utility articles made out of waste material like Photoframe,Penholder,coasters etc. Paintings like Madubani, warli, Scraping were also exhibited.

COMPUTER DEPARTMENT

Various PPTs were prepared by students. Flash movies, Cartoons in paint etc were shown. Rangoli by designs in Logo,Various Image Effects,  projects in Netbeans  were a part of the exhibition.

Pre-Primary Classes presented few states of India which depicted Art and Craft, Computer skills of our tiny tots were also shown.

The Science & SUPW Exhibition was a great success and received great applause from the spectators. Kudos!! to the students and the teachers.

HOLIDAY HOMEWORK DISPLAY- 23th July 2016

Holday Homework Display was organised on Saturday, 23th July 2016. Work and play are important ingredients of life and to develop core skills in students. Holiday Homework was an initiative on our part to inculcate inorativeness, creativity and interest in the task assigned to the students. Parents whole heartedly applauded the efforts of the students.

MOCK DRILL - 25th April 2016


Keeping in mind the destruction caused by Earthquake in Nepal last year, a mock drill was organized in the school on Monday, 25th April 2016. A bell rang at 11:00 AM and the whole school was evacuated in a short time of 2 minutes.

Conservation of Resources is the major step towards conservation of the Earth. Keeping this in view, our school celebrated Earth Day on Friday, 22nd April 2016. Children were encouraged to follow 4R’s in their life. Following activities were organized.

REPUBLIC DAY - 25th January 2016

                                                 
Republic day was celebrated in our school on Monday, 25th January 2016 with great patriotic feeling.
Our Honourable Managing Director, Mrs Sanjiwan Mehar, hoisted the National Flag. She extended her wishes to the staff and students. All the students performed various drills. Aerobics was also presented on the stage by the students of Class XI. A group of students presented dance on a patriotic song. A short play on fundamental rights and duties was the show stealer. A group song was presented by senior students. A dance performance on ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ brought the show towards the end and enlightened our minds towards the concept of ‘Unity in Diversity’ in India.
